Hardings Paddock - Goolman Lookout

Image
20 mins from Ipswich city you will find an awesome little area for hiking, camping and catching a sunset. Being the closest place to hike in relation to my house I find myself here ALOT!  With the option of doing the 9+ Km horse track circuit around Rocky Knoll or the shorter route straight to Goolman Lookout both choices will surely get your heart pumping. I pass by a cross hidden alone, Then I get to the rocks my minds in the zone. Sweat pouring out I have a quick break And soak in the vistas of this great sun kissed state. Then faster I move and higher I go Im promised a beer at the summit I know. Out of the trees I spy little white shacks, I run up the stairs and drop off my pack. Perched hi...
